Why Choose Wide Fitting Shoes? 

You might be surprised to learn that when we conducted a survey of 900 women in the UK over half told us they needed a wider fitting shoe.  If this is you then you definitely need to read on. Ava

This is perhaps our most popular shoe and a style that surprises many (in a good way!). We have sold this shoe for a number of years and as a result of its timeless style and sublime comfort, we have many customers who own it in a number of different colours!

Why is the Ava shoe so great? – This shoe is made with an extra-wide EEE fitting toe box so it is already lovely and spacious where you need it most. BUT what is fabulous about the design of this shoe is that open-sided structure means it has more flexibility in the toe box area, which allows the foot to spread more easily than a court shoe, which has closed sides.

Often this shoe is overlooked by women who do not like wearing shoes with straps and fastenings, as they believe they make the legs appear shorter. Many women also suffer from swollen feet, or high arches which make wearing shoes with straps uncomfortable and problematic. The beauty of the Ava shoe is that the fastening is adjustable so can accommodate both swollen feet and high arches. Furthermore, the triangular V-shape of the fastening actually serves to elongate the leg, slimming them to a point.
