My Shoe Story - Cecile Reinaud (Founder of Seraphine)
It has been a while since posted our fabulous "My Shoe Story" blog posts, so we are really excited about this new post! We are particularly excited about the subject; an amazing woman who has founded an internationally successful business enabling pregnant women to look and feel fabulous. For many women, finding appropriate clothing for work, everyday or evening wear when pregnant can be a challenge, often it is downright depressing! Cecile Reinaud created Seraphine, a maternity wear label that is so fabulous the list of fans is endless and includes A-list celebrities and royalty, both in the UK and internationally. Celine kindly gave her time to tell us about her favourite shoes. Here is her 'Shoe Story'...... 
Cecile, please tell us a little bit about yourself and your business
I am the Founder & CEO of Seraphine, An international maternity fashion label, famous for dressing the Duchess of Cambridge through her pregnancies. I originally started my career in the advertising industry, working as an account manager at large London agencies including JWT. It was while working here that I was inspired to set up Seraphine. I saw my pregnant friends & colleagues struggle to find stylish, office-appropriate maternity clothes and knew that this was a gap in the market that needed to be filled. That was over 16 years ago. Today Seraphine ships stylish maternity clothes to over 30 countries and has stores in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong & Dubai. We are known for dressing the most stylish A-listers through pregnancy, from Hollywood stars like Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani & Marion Cotillard to royalty.

Do you have a favourite pair of shoes, and why are they so special?
My favourite shoes are a gorgeous pair of Louboutins that I wore to meet the Queen! In 2015 Seraphine won the Queen's Award for Enterprise and I was invited to Buckingham Palace to receive the award. For such a special once-in-a-lifetime occasion, I had to have a special pair of heels. I wanted something classic for meeting royalty with a modern Parisian chic twist to honour my French roots. The classic black Louboutin stilettos with their signature red sole were a perfect choice They made me feel fantastic!
