Our shoes follow EU sizing, so your EU size is the one to go by. UK sizes are shown as an approximate guide only. Fit varies a little by style, so please also check the sizing advice for each style in the Style, Width & Fit Suitability dropdown.

Chart 2: Foot width – Extra-Wide EEE

This style is made in our Extra-Wide EEE fit, our roomiest. The chart shows the approximate foot width (measured around the widest part of the foot) it is made for. If your feet are narrower but still wide, an EEE style still works well and gives a little extra space for your feet to relax.

37 4 22.8

How to measure

Length: stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark.
Width: while standing, wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your foot, across the joint at the base of your big toe. Don't pull it tight.
Measure both feet and use the larger measurements.

The zero-drop soles are soft and flexible. Plus, our unique toe-cap design uses visual contouring to create a streamlined, narrow profile—so you never have to choose between foot health and style.

How Does This Style Size Up? - This shoe offers a slightly snug fit, lengthwise. If you are between sizes, we advise sizing up.

How Wide Is This Style? - This style will fit feet up to an EEE extra-wide width. If your feet are narrower but still wide, this style is still a good choice and will offer a little extra space for feet to relax.

Is this Style Suitable for Bunions? - Yes, this style is suitable for bunions as it has an extra wide toe box, giving bunions and sensitive toes plenty of room to relax.

Is this Style Suitable for Plantar Fasciitis? - Yes, our Barefoot trainers are suitable for Plantar Fasciitis for the following reasons:
    - Builds strength: thin and flexible soles force the intrinsic foot muscles to work, which supports the arch naturally.
    - Spreads toes: wide toe boxes let toes splay, which distributes body weight evenly across the foot.
    - Improves gait: zero-drop designs (flat from heel to toe) encourage a more natural walking pattern.

Is this Style Suitable for Morton's Neuroma? - Yes, our Barefoot trainers are suitable for Morton's neuroma for the following reasons:
    - Wide toe box: unlike conventional shoes that squeeze the toes together, barefoot shoes allow the toes and metatarsals to splay naturally, which takes pressure off the inflamed interdigital nerve.
    - Zero-drop sole: a flat, zero-drop platform keeps the heel and forefoot level, preventing your body weight from being driven forward onto the ball of the foot.
    - Intrinsic muscle work: long-term, gradual use can help strengthen the small muscles of the foot.
    - Extra cushioning: our Barefoot trainers have an additional layer of foam to cushion the balls of your feet.

    - Extra-wide toe box - allowing feet to maintain their natural shape
    - Leather upper with padded heel cup and tongue
    - Padded insole
    - Rubber sole
    - Made in Spain

"You can't make silk purse out of a sow's ear." - The same applies to our shoes, which are made from premium soft suedes and leathers to ensure a comfortable fit. Treat them as you would fine silk dress. Take the best care of them to ensure they last you a long time. Our shoes come with a cotton dust bag to store them when not in use. Here is some advice to care for your shoes:

Leather shoes – We advise using a leather cream from time to time to nourish and protect the leather. Avoid leaving your shoes in direct sunlight or near heat as this can cause the leather to crack and split.

Suede Shoes – We strongly advise purchasing a suede protector spray and spraying the shoes (according to the instructions) regularly.

Heel Hazards – Please take care when wearing thin heels on uneven ground. There are many hazards for stilettos and thin heels so beware of sharp steps, uneven payments, cobbles, drains and grates. Heel tips are very small and will need to be regularly replaced depending on how often you wear your shoes. Cobblers can often repair scraped heels and heel tips, but we also offer a repair service so please contact us at help@sargassoandgrey.com if you need this service.

Leather Soles - Some of our occasion shoes feature premium leather soles - Leather is a natural material and will absorb water. Leather soles do not like too much wet weather. If you are wearing leather soles regularly in wet conditions, they will require resoling on a more regular basis. You may prefer to add half rubber soles to increase longevity.
