If you are the proud Mother of the Bride or Groom and you have wide feet then our beautiful collection of wide fit shoes and heels will ensure your feet look fabulous and feel super comfy. Even if you don't have wide feet, our wider fit shoes offer a little extra space for feet to expand throughout the day to ensure your feet can breathe and you can enjoy the day without foot pain.

Weddings can be long days and much of the time is spent standing so it is really important to have comfy as well as elegant shoes. If you don't usually wear heels the thought of wearing a pair of heels all day probably fills you with dread. Fear not! At Sargasso & Grey, we have a range of heel heights to suit your style. What we don't compromise on, however, is comfort, which is why we are the go-to British brand for elegant wide fitting occasion shoes.

All of our shoes are made in a wide fit and all are made from the finest leathers. Each pair has a padded memory foam leather insole which allows the feet to breathe whilst ensuring day-long comfort. The soles are made from leather, making them more durable as we expect our shoes to last for years and years.

Rounded toe styles:

Our Catherine wide fit shoes are made with a rounded toe, which many women find more comfortable than a pointed toe. This style is made of soft leather, and has a memory foam padded insole with a breathable arch support.  Our current collection offers a colour choice of black or navy with more colours available in the autumn. 

Pointed toe styles:

We have a beautiful collection of pointed-toe styles, all with an extra-wide fitting toe box. They are ideal for weddings and parties. Choose from simple classic court styles, shoes with bows, embellishments, thin heels or block heels. If you need a bag to match, we have that covered too!

Shoes with a fastening

Our Ava shoe (pictured below) and Penelope shoes (above) are best sellers and are ideal for women who need the extra-wide fitting toe box, but perhaps have slimmer heels and need some support given by a tie or buckle fastening. These are also perfect for women who are not regular wearers of heels (these shoes have 6cm heels) as the fastening adds a little extra element of security to keep the shoe firming on the foot.

Our Ava and Penelope shoes are currently available in black suede, navy suede, silver leather, and pale pink suede suede. 

If you prefer a flat shoe our Indy flats are perfect! Made with an extra-wide fitting toe box, these shoes also have memory foam padded insoles and leather soles.  

Block heel styles

If you prefer a slightly thicker heel, our Helena and Lola courts are the ideal choice. Made with a sleek, yet sensible 6cm block heel, offering a little extra support for your heels, these shoes are hugely popular with our customers and has been part of our collection for several seasons.

If heels fill you with dread and you prefer flats we have some elegant options. Our Laura or Indy styles, with a small 1cm heel, extra wide toe box and memory foam padded insoles are flat out fabulous!
